US company enters second season offering organics

Branch, a Family of Farms, a grower, packer and shipper of sweetcorn in the United States, is heading into their second season of offering organic products. After a successful first season in the market, Branch has a positive outlook on this year’s volume and plans to grow and expand their organic program exponentially.

With strong consumer demand and a rapid increase in sales of organic produce, Branch states that it is committed to the growth of their organic program. Last year they added a new organic bi-color corn variety that has done exceptionally well. This variety is available from November to May, in custom/private label, and is offered in 12/2 packs and in 48 bulk counts in sustainer cartons; sustainer cartons are exclusive to Branch.

Along with the new addition of the organic bi-color corn, Branch will be offering organic beans that are available in custom/private label and also in bulk. They come in 12 oz. bags (6/12, 8/12, 12/12), 28 pound bushels, 56 cases per pallet and are available from November to May.

“We understand that consumers are more interested in shopping for products that are natural and organic, that is why we are excited to offer them just what they are searching for with our organic program,” says Brett Bergmann, president of Branch. "We are continually looking to the future to help meet consumer demand as we further grow our organic offerings.”
