Presentation during International Green Week in Berlin

Lively interest in multi-colored carrots

“This year the Green Week visitors focused on snack carrots and multi-colored carrots, especially the yellow and purple varieties,” said Peter Boley about the presentation of Brocker Möhren, the carrot producer, during the International Green Week 2017 in Berlin.

For the second time, Brocker Möhren was present for two days in the hall of North Rhine-Westphalia. Not only the wide range of carrots, but also the freshly pressed carrot juice was very popular with the visitors. Over 1300 visitors tried the vitamin bomb drink. The visitors of the stand could also find out more about sustainability and environmental protection. “The decision of our company last year to comply with the requirements of the German Sustainability Code (DNK) was very well received,” stated Boley. A favorite photo opportunity was the biggest carrot of the Green Week: the more than 2 meter high (fake) carrot.

Visitors could get even more information about carrots, and a delicious carrot based dish, during the Green Week event. “Overall, it can be said that German consumers appreciate carrots as a healthy and tasty vegetable and they are also open to new ideas,” said Boley.
