Among the equipment to be displayed this year in Berlin are: The Apple Ring Slicer and Vacuum Cooker-Filler-Capper unit.
The MW-R Apple Ring Slicer is designed for coring and slicing apples into rings. It is typically used in the fruit drying industry when very thin ring slices are required for the production of apple chips. This machine has a capacity of 400 kg/h and boasts several advantages including: complete automatic feeding and operation; compact size (the machine includes a feeding tank, an elevator and an automatic orienting system) and a quick changeover of the cutting unit for rapidly switching slice thickness.
The K-FC45 Cooking and Filling Unit is conceived for labs and small-scale processing facilities for tomatoes (paste, passata, sauceā¦), marmalade, jam or juices to be filled in jars of different sizes.
It includes different production stages in one single piece of equipment:
- Cooking and Vacuum Evaporation in the vacuum cooker allowing reduction of cooking times as well as preservation of colour and organoleptic properties;
- Aroma Recovery in the multitubular condenser allowing to gain back the aroma from the condensate and inject this back or store it;
- Volumetric Filling and Dosing with adjustable dosing capacity from 10 cc to 1100 cc;
- Capping with manual glass jar and cap feeding, suitable for glass jars and twist-off caps.
