Three leading fresh produce companies choose QC One inspection software

Three leading companies in the fresh produce industry have recently implemented the inspection software, QC One: Dutch based Roveg, Direct Fruit Services and Nicolaï Fruit in Sint-Truiden (Belgium). For all three companies, agility and user-friendliness were decisive factors.

QC One supports fruit & vegetable quality control processes with a tablet and pre-installed QC One app. The information requirements can be tailored per user. QC One’s platform ensures uniform storage of QC data and transparency throughout the chain with time & cost saving benefits.

Roveg
Richard Kramer, quality manager at Roveg – Waddinxveen: “We used to work with laptops and other inspection software. With QC One, we can now tailor customer and supplier requirements within one system. QC One interfaces with our WMS, which is saving us a lot of time and effort. In the near future we will start using it for outbound shipments as well.”

Direct Fruit Services
The top fruit specialist in Houten – Direct Fruit Services – recently started working with QC One after a satisfying implementation. Niels Krijnen, after-sales manager at DFS: “With QC One we carry out quality inspections at every point of our supply chain in all our packing stations. These include, inbound, processed and outbound products and shelf life tests. All relevant parameters are set for every point in our chain, per customer specs and are registered with iPads. We deliver to a wide range of retailers throughout Europe.”

Nicolaï Fruit
Belgium based Nicolaï Fruit (Sint-Truiden) had been searching for a suitable QC system, specifically for the inspection of incoming shipments. Johan van Gendt, Nicolaï Fruit’s CEO explains: “We have conducted extensive research into the available systems used in the market. After evaluating user feedback of our industry contacts, who all spoke highly of QC One, our decision was made to implement their software. It has resulted in a pleasant collaboration between the Dutch and Belgians.”

“We are experiencing a considerable increase of interaction amongst our users, in terms of sharing of QC reports. This synergy contributes to smoother, faster and more consistent sharing of qc and management data between the parties. Within a few days from now we will be launching a completely new exciting tool that will further advance the availability of data – but more to come,” Thijs van Alebeek, co-founder of QC One stated.
