Armenia: 2,300 tonnes of fruit and veg exported so far in 2017

Since the beginning of the year, Armenia has exported 2,300 tonnes of fruit and vegetables, as told to reporters by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Robert Makaryan, after a meeting of the Government on 19 January.

According to him, this volume is much greater than that of the first two weeks of January 2016 (1,300 tonnes). The most exported products have been grapes from cold storage and hothouse tomatoes. Russia remains the main customer, accounting for 85% of the total.
