New branch in Zabrze

Mandersloot strengthens its position in Poland

Transport company Mandersloot is building a second branch in Poland. Thanks to the success of the branch in Komorniki in Western Poland, the company is now ready for the next step, a branch in Southern Poland, in Zabrze.

General manager Ronald Mandersloot: “Zabrze is a good, strategic operating base for us to supply the densely populated trade area in the south of Poland, as well as the neighbouring countries. This will further increase our service-level, and we are therefore very enthusiastic to be able to serve our customers even better.”

The new branch will have 2,800 m3 of crossdock warehouse, 575 m3 of which will be refrigerated, in addition to office space. It is expected that the first shipments from the new branch can be crossdocked from the spring of 2017, and the official opening of the branch will be in May 2017.

The Mandersloot Group is mostly known for its strong distribution networks in Eastern Europe, and its years of experience in transporting, among other things, flowers and plants, food, general and high-quality products.

Earlier this year, the transport company celebrated the 20th anniversary of Mandersloot in Poland, and these plans are a nice crown on the jubilee year. The branch in Zabrze will be the sixth branch of the Mandersloot Group, after Scherpenzeel (NL), Kormorniki (PL), Klicany (CZ), Codlea (RO) and Szigetszentmiklos (HU).
