Agristo create third Automatic deepfreeze warehouse

Agristo, the producer of Belgian pre-fried and frozen potatoes, has teamed up yet again with Egemin Automation to create a new automatic high-bay deepfreeze warehouse. The new warehouse will measure 45 metres high and will have 15 storage levels. The warehouse will be able to store 35,000 tns of frozen fries and is due to begin operations in autumn 2017.

This is the third warehouse of its type for the company and will be located in Wielsbeke. The first is based in Tilburg and the second in Nazareth, founded in 2012 and 2015 respectively. The new warehouse comes with new additions like an improved pallet stacker system, which they claim is 20% more efficient and releases less heat into the warehouse.
