Thailand is now Yunnan's main export destination

On the 23rd of November, the Hong xing Cang jiang international transport agency, located inYunnan province, reported that 25 tons of citrus was exported destined for Thailand.

The statistics at the customs indicate that from January to October in 2016, Yunnan province has exported 592,000 tons of fruits (including both fresh and dried fruits and nuts) and that exports have increased by 41% compared to the same period last year, the value of exports exceeds 94 million RMB (1,3 million EUR), a growth of almost 25%. This amounts to 40% of the gross national export of fruits. Yunnan is the province with most exports in China. Thailand has thus become an important export market for fruits from Yunnan province.
