First open field days in Greece

A wide range of growers, distributors, retailers and food processors attended the first open field days in Greece. "The weather was great and the crops were in excellent condition. Visitors could take a look at Rijk Zwaan’s wide lettuce assortment, suitable for production in northern, central and southern Greece," said Angelos Sfyrogiannakis from Rijk Zwaan Hellas.

"Among the highlights were Salanova and Rijk Zwaan’s recent breakthrough innovation, Knox™, that reduces pinking in lettuce leaves after cutting. We are really satisfied and will give this event a follow up," he concluded, after this very promising first attempt of the very young subsidiary.
