The official handover of the GEWA salad washing line to the company, Adam Theis GmbH, took place on 25 October 2016. Two GEWA washing machines (GEWA 3800B PLUS in cascade function) are integrated in this special salad processing line with the serial numbers 999 and 1000. A great occasion to congratulate the CEO, Mr. Werner Theis, face to face.
In 1875, the familiy-owned company, Adam Theis GmbH, started the marketing of fresh vegetables in the Palatinate. Today, it is a partner of the catering industry in southern Germany, with the whole range of fresh fruit, vegetables, salads, exotics, mushrooms and herbs. Local wholesalers, as well as large-scale consumers, canteens, hotels and restaurants are supplied with 40 trucks. 260 employees work 7 days a week in the service of freshness.

Mr. Theis proudly talked about the long-term cooperation with the company Kronen. His freshcut production is based on the needs of the gastronomy. The offer covers a wide range of cutting sizes and cutting shapes. Individual mixing recipes are also realized. Adam Theis GmbH produce just-in-time and without preservatives. The production area for ready-to-cook products will be expanded by 650 m² by the end of this year.
Reliability and quality of the high end Kronen machines have convinced the company Adam Theis GmbH from the beginning. Therefore, they made an early start in processing fruit, vegetables and salad with Kronen machines, and they now continue production with the large salad processing line. Since safety and on-time service are shared values, both managing directors look forward to an ongoing enhancement.
