The cooperative Cuna de Platero will attend the 8th International Trade Fair for Fruit and Vegetables, Fruit Attraction, to showcase its healthiest berries. The berry producer and distributor has designed an extensive program of activities revolving mostly around the promotion of the properties and health benefits of the consumption of berries.
Because of this, the firm's most important activity at the trade fair (stand 6D05) will be the act of adherence to the Food and Health Program (PASFEC) of the Spanish Heart Foundation (FEC). With this agreement, Cuna de Platero will help in the promotion of the properties of berries for cardiovascular health, among other objectives.
At this event, Cuna de Platero will launch its new slogan "Your Global Berry Partner", which announces the producer's capacity to supply its customers with berries from Huelva all year round.
On the opening day, the cooperative will participate in the Innova Forum, a space devoted to training activities, where it will present the paper "Berries and health - Prevention of cardiovascular disease." The presentation will be given by an FEC cardiologist and cardiovascular health specialist, who will outline the latest developments in scientific research on the relationship between berry consumption and the prevention of heart related diseases.
"The promotion of the healthy properties of berries must be one of our priorities," stated the General Director of Cuna de Platero, Juan Báñez, who added that these benefits to the body "are one of the main reasons for consumers to increasingly choose to buy these fruits, and which will continue boosting their demand."
Cuna de Platero will attend this international event with a completely new stand and a new image linked to the most advanced technologies. The cooperative will additionally have a space reserved for a virtual visit to its fields and facilities. As explained by the General Director of Cuna de Platero, "with this initiative we are taking the customers to Moguer to become more familiar with the activity of our growers, showing them how and where we work."
Fruit Attraction is a trade show which has been gaining relevance with each of its eight editions, and which will record a 16% growth in the exhibition space this year. A total of 1,200 companies from 40 countries will be exhibiting, and 55,000 professionals from 100 countries are expected to attend.
