Since May this year, Chinese nectarines have the permission to be exported to Australia. Mid June, Wanrong county in Shanxi was first to export 18.8 tons of nectarines to Australia. Today Dalian Tianli Agricultural Technology Development also got the permission to export nectarines to Australia. According to a report on the Dalian TV broadcast, a first batch of 120 tons will gradually be transported to Australia starting from August 21. Worth mentioning is that this is the next triumph for Dalian in reaching the international high-end market after successful exports of apples to Canada and the US. Moreover, this export contract for the Dalian nectarines was signed by Dalian Tianli Agricultural Technology Development and Summerfruit Australia Association. That means it is a trading contract between a Chinese enterprise and a foreign trading association. Compared to contracts between enterprises, this sort of contract is rather rare.
