Reichel Foods introduces new Pro2 snax flavor combinations

Reichel Foods, a fresh‐cut produce snack manufacturer, introduces four new flavor combinations to its Pro2 snax product line. Pro2 snax single‐serve snacks include fresh produce paired with a healthy protein. These “fresh to go” combinations are versatile, reasonably priced and can go in many snacking sections: produce, dairy, deli, grab and go, etc.

Currently, fresh fruit is the fastest growing snack in the US and half of consumers are making an effort to consume more protein. With popular flavor profiles like Sriracha or protein‐rich nuts and cheeses, this is the type of snack athletes or health‐conscious millennials are going to grab to “up their game.” With more than half of adults eating more than three snacks a day, the additional options in the Pro2 snax line offer even more ways to score a healthy snacking win.

“We’re excited about expanding our Pro2 snax line which offers consumers a perfect solution for fresh produce and healthy proteins. Our snacking innovation is going to lead the way in this new and growing market,” says Craig Reichel, President and CEO.

These new flavor combinations include Baby Carrots with Sriracha‐Jack Cheese, Baby Carrots with White Cheddar Cheese & Almonds, Sweet Gala Apples with Mild Cheddar Cheese & Pretzels, and Sliced Apples with Mild Cheddar Cheese, Dried Cranberries & Cashews. The full Pro2 snax product line is currently available nationwide.
