Ginger is becoming increasingly popular. Many people already use fresh ginger in tea, meals or even home made smoothies. Juice producers see ginger as an important ingredient for new blends and detox drinks with ginger are becoming more common. "Logical, as ginger is tasty and healthy," says Hans Versteegh of Now Organics. "The health benefits of ginger are generally known."

"After we started our own factory for fresh ginger last year, NOW Organic now also has 100% pure ginger juice on the market," continues Hans. The fresh ginger is pressed in the Netherlands and then filled for various markets. In 190 kilo drums for the industry and in 20 kilo bag in box packaging for consumers and 200 and 700 ml bottles for catering.
