Ag retailer launches new corporate website

BRANDT, a leading agriculture retailer and manufacturer of specialty products for the ag and turf markets, has re-launched its corporate website. The new site is located at www.brandt.co.

“Our new site highlights our people, our insights and our products,” said Karl Barnhart, Chief Marketing Officer. “The design is clean and modern; it runs on a state-of-the-art content management system; and it is responsive across platforms, meaning it will work just as well on your iPhone as it does your desktop.”

The new site is built to allow users to find information quickly and easily. The site is organized around who the user is, as opposed to how the BRANDT company is divisioned. A new product finder enables users to search detailed information such as labels and SDS data in a few simple clicks. And multiple user pathways provide common-sense routes to get to in-depth information such as international distributors, experts and product information.

BRANDT’s website was last rebuilt in 2009.

“The site is the result of the work of an internal cross-functional team, supported by outside experts in usability, design and programming,” noted Barnhart. “I’m really proud of the way the entire team came together to create something that will last well into the future.”

There are already plans to expand the capabilities and functionality of the site after launch.

“The web is one of those mediums that’s never finished. We know we want to keep making our site better. So we’re not looking at this launch as an endpoint. It’s more of a milestone on a journey,” explained Barnhart.
