Mastronardi supports autism awareness

On April 2, World Autism Day, Melanie Mastronardi presented a check for $5,641 to Autism Ontario - Windsor Essex Chapter.

Mastronardi employees recently came together to raise funds for the charity, which supports local educational programs, therapy and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

“We are very proud to support such a worthwhile cause,” said Melanie Mastronardi. “Autism affects many families in our community, and we feel it is so important to bring awareness to this amazing program.”

“Our local program relies on the support and generosity of companies like Mastronardi Produce,” shared Livia Congi, Chapter and Program Manager for Autism Ontario Windsor Essex. “We’re so grateful for our continued partnership.”

The company will also be supporting the local Autism Awareness Walk/Run, which will be taking place Sunday, April 10th at Seacliff Park in Leamington. To learn more about how you can get involved, visit autismontario.com
