China cold chain standard expected to promulgate
Mr. Qin Yuming, Secretary-General of China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing Professional Committee for cold chain logistics, said that the national compulsory standards for cold chain logistics are being developed and it will be promulgated by the end of this year at the earliest.
Compared with developed countries, China's cold chain logistics industry has huge potential for the future. The data shows that in 2014 the demand for our cold chain logistics is up to 104.88 million tons, an increase of 18%, and with values of 3.74 trillion Yuan. On the contrary, cold chain logistics has covered up to 90% in European countries and America, in comparison with 20% to 30% coverage in China.
