Last week the annual Fruit Logisitca exhibition was held in Berlin. An ideal networking event according to many of the exhibitors. According to a press release from Fruit Logistica, they had a new record of more than 70,000 trade visitors from over 130 countries.
More greenhouse suppliers
In the last couple of years the number of greenhouse suppliers grew and this was also this year the case. Specifically in the halls 4,5,6 and 7 the lower level greenhouse suppliers were clearly present.
Fruit Logistica Innovation Award
Spanish company World's Coconut Trading won the Fruit Logistica Innovation Award with the Genuine Coconut: an organic coconut with a patented opening and a straw. The second place went to the cherry tomato plant of Danish company, Northern Greens and in third place was the yellow and red striped bell pepper of Enjoya from TNI Holland.
