BCS Coldstore & Logistics responds to increasing demand of refrigerated fruit storage

J.P. Beemsterboer is the founder of Holding Beemsterboer. In 1943 at the age of 18 he began working with seed potatoes. After the war, the company expanded to include other agricultural products. In the early 1960s the demand for refrigerated storage for agricultural products arose.

In 1963 BCS Coldstore & Logistics was created, they now have major offices in Amsterdam and Harderwijk. BCS Coldstore & Logistics adequately responds to the changes in the market, such as the increasing demand for the refrigerated storage of fruit. The Amsterdam location has an extensive facilitated wharf for ships. Both locations are equipped with a modern inventory system, laboratory and extra space. Between 2013 and 2015 they invested heavily in both locations and purchased a completely new, environmentally friendly cooling system.

During Fruit Logistica in Berlin, existing and potentially new customers are welcome at the BCS Coldstore & Logistics stand for general information and in particular, temperature controlled storage options: Hall 1.2 - stand D-06.
