Butternut squash featured on TV program
Mann Packing Company, Inc., headquartered in the Salinas Valley, announced that its cubed butternut squash recently appeared on an episode of Food Network Canada’s popular show, Food Factory. In the U.S., Mann’s cubed butternut squash will be featured on FYI Network’s Food Factory USA, Thursday, January 21st at 12:00 pm EST.
Customers can get an edited version of the show’s behind-the-scenes look at how Mann’s Cubed Butternut Squash is produced -- from peeling and chopping to washing and packaging -- here.
"We have a dedicated team working to create a product that combines healthy choices and great taste,” said Gina Nucci, director of foodservice marketing at Mann’s. "Our butternut squash is peeled, cubed and ready to cook, and is fantastic anytime, particularly during the chilly winter months.”
This is the third time Mann’s products have been featured on Food Factory. Previously they have showcased Mann’s Broccoli Cole Slaw® and Mann’s Crinkle Cut Sweet Potatoes.
