BLE market report CW 33/15

Continuing decline with apricots

Apricots
In accordance with the time of the season, availability continuously declined. France and Turkey dominated events; Germany, Italy Hungary and Spain rounded out the product palette. The organoleptic properties were never convincing, so that excesses often formed. Marketing proceeded calmly; demand could be met without a problem. If the quality was right, stipulations would be somewhat increased here and there, driven by volume. Salesmen were occasionally forced to reduce prices, because the need had not developed particularly strongly.
