The Germans are world champion not onlyin soccer, but also in cabbage turnip consumption. In no othercountry is the vegetable as popular as with us. 68,000 tonnes of theround tubers were harvest in Germany in 2014 – an increase of 4percent points compared to the same time period in the previousyear. Trend: rising again.

- Producer number 1 among the FederalStates is North Rhine-Westphalia followed by Rhineland-Palatinate andLower Saxony.
- Every German bought 550 grams ofcabbage turnip on average in 2014 – an increase of 14 percentcompared to that time period in the previous year.
