Russian art historian creates new market: vegetable bouquets

Anna Nazarova, owner of the company “Ochen horosho” (Very Good), sells bouquets made out of vegetables, exotic fruits, mushrooms and berries, in St Petersburg, Moscow and Krasnoyarsk. The turnover of all three branches of the company equates to €7,600 per month.

Business from a bunch of radishes

The new vegetable bouquet business was born by accident - from an April fools joke. Anna went to visit a friend and on the way bought a bunch of radishes as a gift, turning it into a bouquet. On the journey, passers-by stopped to take photos of her and asked where they could find such a gift: she quickly realised the need to immediately fill a niche in the market.

The start-up capital amounted to €555.00. This money was used to buy a refrigerator, vegetables for the bouquets and several advertising publications on social networks.
