AU: Ventilated Pallet film launched for citrus season

With the Citrus export season soon to get underway, ProFresh Systems have launched its Ventilated Pallet film. Saul Windiate from ProFresh Systems, says "Growers and exporters have been suffering from carton collapse caused by a build-up of condensation through the use of standard pallet wrap film. Our new ventilated film offers 60% air flow allowing produce to be cooled quickly, prevents condensation build up on the cartons, works on most wrapping machines (up to a 250% yield from a Power pre-stretch).

For growers and exporters that don't have wrapping machines there also hand rolls available.

Importantly the film is accepted by major distribution centres (Coles & Woolworths), forklift friendly, and is 100% recyclable. The ventilated film offers maximum stretch and strength and provides excellent visibility of cartons after wrapping whilst it is soft on carton corners preventing crushing. Importantly there are significant financial and efficiency savings compared to cardboard angles and straps!
