Large-scale expansion Ariza

Ariza has begun a large-scale expansion of its production location in Helmond. In the new building, 7 150-tonne storage tanks will be placed, nearly doubling the current storage capacity.

The company, founded 25 years ago by Ari de Kimpe, processes organic fruit and vegetables to concentrates, juices and purées. In Helmond, all products are stored, blended and packaged. Because of increasing sales, it's been decided to add expansions to the building that include increased storage capacity, a new laboratory and a tasting room.

In order to optimize the logistical process, investments were made in a double weighbridge, so that multi compartment tankers can be loaded directly, when driving to and fro. The environment was also taken into consideration; Ariza is ISO 14001 certified, and has deployed the latest techniques for construction. The cooling installation will run on CO2, and the residual heat from the system is used to heat the offices. All lights, including those in the freeze room, will be LED. In order to limit loss of production as much as possible, pigging systems are installed, limiting the flushing of pipes.

There will be a new, expanded laboratory, especially suited for product development. Together with a separate tasting room, this gives the opportunity to test and optimize products together with customers. Many of the fruit concentrates are used in baby food and juices, including in the juices of own brand Covelt. Covelt is known for products including Dixap and fruit juices.
