AB Texel planning to take over Butter Group

Logistics service provider AB Texel is planning to take over Butter Group. Both companies have laid down this intention in a preliminary resolution. AB Texel and the Butter Group will use the coming months to carefully further examine the feasibility of this takeover. The results of this feasibility study are expected early 2015.

AB Texel is specialised in the transport of loose bulk agricultural products, flour and animal feed. The Butter Group is active in the loose bulk transport of agricultural products. AB Texel intends to take over 100% of the Butter Group shares in order to consolidate its network as logistics service provider in the field of loose bulk transport and to improve its customer service. Both companies indicate that, after a possible takeover of Butter Group by AB Texel, employment will be maintained.
