Promotion of “ugly” fruits and vegetables spreads throughout France

Following the first ‘Ugly Vegetables” sales campaign in an Intermarché in Provins a little over 6 months ago, the project is spreading all over France in partnership with the Cantine California food truck. Parisians will be able to taste their ugly fruit and vegetable specialities until the 19th October.

This partnership coincides with the revival of Intermarché’s campaign launched in March as well as anti food wasting day which is on the 16th October. For the occasion Intermarché will carry out the operation in 1,800 sales points.

To promote the campaign, the agency Marcel has signed on to do two more films with the ‘unmotivated carrot’ and the ‘withdrawn clementine’.
