Over 150 trucks cross Kazakh border daily

On 25 August, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Soil Conservation, Erkinbek Choduev and Head of Food Safety Department, Jumabek Asylbekov visited customs Ak-Tilek to follow up the export of agricultural products into Kazakhstan and Russia from Kyrgyzstan. The customs office opened a priority line for perishable products such as strawberries and raspberries, to avoid congestion.

Choduev saw no problem at the customs of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Ministry of Agriculture organized a phone hotline and hired staff to work with the regions of Kyrgyzstan with no restrictions or obstacles. The Ministry of Agriculture is currently working on the renewal of unrestricted passage through the territory of Kazakhstan for export of agricultural products to Russia.
