Foreign countries are also catching up in this area. In March 2014, in cooperation with Agritech Profi BV, a new high-tech filtration system was supplied to Agrico Eurasia in Russia. This filtration system will be used to extract potato dust in order to improve working conditions in the sorting area. The extracted air with dust is filtered through filter cartridges that are cleaned per interval with compressed air. The built-in fans in the filtration system are automatically partially switched on and off, depending on the required suction power at extraction points on the sorting line.
Another filtration system was delivered in Poland, in close cooperation with a large local mechanization firm. The beauty of this system is that the filtration unit could be perfectly inserted into the existing machinery. By placing the unit above an existing extraction line, the waste product, which falls out of the bottom of the airlock de-pressurized, is directly carried off as well.
