"The heavy competition from at home and abroad means very low margins have to be settled for. In order to be able to generate profitability, it's necessary to continuously process large to very large volumes. The associated, and above all varying risks, are too great for Terrapoint, and not at all proportional to the margins," the director explains.

For other destinations, we are also experiencing a growing level of serious trade restrictions. This fits very well in the international, broadly supported policy of countries to strive for more independence of food import, and to protect the own production," Daan continues.
