"Strawberry capper named "Best New Packing - Processing Equipment"
Attendees to the United Fresh Produce Association's annual convention and expo in Chicago two weeks ago voted throughout the show for fresh produce innovation and recognized this year's New Product Awards. The new Strawberry Capper from Turatti won in the "Best New Packing/Processing Equipment" category.
The brand new Mod. Frazer capper was developed to remove the strawberry calyx (top green cap with leaves) and if desired cut each strawberry in half. This patent-pending system can also be used in the removal of the radishes’ calyx.
The President of Turatti North America, Dr. Alessandro Turatti, states: "Our award-winning history continues and it is enriched by another prestigious recognition.
