Germany: Koolrabi imports drop

The supply of kollrabi from Germany is increasing. On the other hand imports into Germany are less important and are decreasing, reports the Duitse Adrarmarkt Informations - Gesellschaft (AMI) on it's website. The prices of Italian supply fell for a while due to the growing demand for product from Germany.

The German open ground harvest in week 18 was concentrated in the Pflaz. However in West-Germany the harvest has also started. The increasing offer is good for stable prices.

In week 19 the supply from Germany may increase further, because the harvest also started last weekend in some places in North-Germany, even though the quantities are still limited. It is expected that the prices will come down a bit.
