Salesteam Europe is a French sales union which markets products for various French growers, each with their own products. The fruit and vegetables that Salesteam Europe exports include potatoes (Parmentine), carrots (Larrère), onions, shallots and garlic (Ferme de la Motte), precooked vegetables (Allaire) and charentais melons (Soldive). "We do what growers ask us to," says Quentin Kremsa-Huré, export sales manager of Salesteam Europe. “We are continually speaking with the growers about their needs and their wishes for the export market.”
Export
Salesteam Europe exports these products to Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Eastern Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Italy and Greece. The company was at Worldfood Warsaw. Quentin indicates that they only export potatoes to Poland at the moment. "We went to this fair to introduce the Polish market to the other products we sell. I believe there are a lot more chances in this market, there is clearly interest in our French fruit and vegetables. They appreciate the quality and flavour of the products our growers supply." The only challenge is the transport to this country. "We can hardly send half pallets to Poland, there has to be a certain volume. This is why we are looking for collaborations in organising the transport."
Some growers partially sell the products in certain countries themselves. "We take care of the export, but if a grower is already independently active in a certain country, we won't actively sell there. In the past, four of the five companies have had their own stand, but this time they decided to stand together under the name of Salesteam Europe.
