Photo report Belgium exhibitors at Fruit Logistica

This year most Belgium exhibitors at Fruit Logistica were located in Hall 6.2. Belgium was very well represented with the export-part: 25 suppliers of fruit and vegetables took part in the exhibition via the group VLAM.

There was also a booth of importers from the European Centre of fruit and vegetables where they presented their products.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and a lot of Belgium trading companies started the new year positively. Fruit and vegetable companies distinguish their products with special packaging and several diverse domestic brands.
Wednesday started very well, because of all the activity around the booths. On Thursday, there was almost no room to walk in the aisles due to all the activity. Friday was, like almost every year, a more quiet day.

No export to Russia
At the Belgium 'potato-booths', they were talking about the export to Russia, because of the export block. According to Romain Cools from Belgapom, Russia still doesn't allow access for potatoes and consumer potatoes. This could probably take a while.
