Rago Group, a leading company in the packed-unwashed, fresh-cut and pre-cooked vegetable sector, ended 2013 with a 33% increase in turnover.
The main products of the company are baby leaves in general, but the most important one is rocket, as 12-15 tonnes are processed every day.
"We supply our products to both the national and international market, as 50% of our production is sent to Europe and Eastern countries like Russia and Ukraine," says Adriana Casella from the sales office.

"We have invested in new drying systems which guarantee no damage and a longer shelf-life. What is really new though is our pre-cooked range, i.e. salads that are already cooked and ready to eat, you just need to heat it up and season it."
"Cotte a Tavola - this is the name of the range - are practical, easy and taste excellent," concludes Adriana Casella.
