Combilo celebrates its 90th year with new a logo

Combilo presented its new corporate identity to its staff on Saturday 14 December. The fresh fruit and vegetables import and export company wishes to highlight the dynamics and changes in the fruit and veg sector. The introduction of the new house style coincides with the company’s ninetieth anniversary in 2014.



The new corporate style centres on the notion of freshness. Combilo is clearly responding to the international consumer’s demands for fresh produce, grown in a sustainable manner.



The new look also brings the company a more modern image. Harro van Rossum, current director of the family business launched in 1924 explains: “The previous logo dated from the beginning of the nineteen eighties. The design has now been updated to reflect the current times and trends, at the same time of course maintaining all the core values and good things our buyers have come to associate with the Combilo brand. For a company such as ours, it is absolutely crucial that we appeal both to the older and present generation.”



In the next few months, the new Combilo logo will become more familiar as it begins to be recognised along with all our usual style. In particular our website combilo.nl and the matching livery for our trucks will feature impressive colourful images with fresh fruit and veg playing an important visual role. The new combilo.nl website, together with the first newly painted truck visualising the dynamism and sustainability of the company and sector, were unveiled in the presence of the staff on Saturday.
