Palestinians to start exporting guava to Jordan

Palestinian farmers will start exporting guava to Jordan starting Monday, a local official said.

Ibrahim Nazzal, the head of the Qalqiliya chamber of commerce, said that Jordan would start importing guava from Qalqiliya on Monday. “It is the result of the efforts of the Palestinian and Jordanian ministries of agriculture,” Nazzal said.

The first shipment of 15 tons of guava will be exported on Monday.
