Best Fresh Group celebrates 85th anniversary

Valstar Holland, and thus the Best Fresh Group, celebrates the 85th anniversary of the company today. For this occasion a unique recipe book was developed. The first copy was presented to Ful Valstar, son of founder Maart Valstar.

Business partners and employees play a key role in this special edition with delicious recipes from all over the world, made with our own products. It is easy to use the recipes at home: by folding the cover you can place the book on the kitchen counter as a recipe standard. With this unique collection of recipes Best Fresh Group shares 85 years of fresh produce with all employees and business partners.

Best Fresh Group originated from fa. M.Valstar (later: & Co) in Naaldwijk, founded in 1928 by Maart Valstar. His son Ful began working for the company in 1952 and became director in 1976. After 85 years, Valstar Holland is still a family company. As third generation, Mart and Kees Valstar currently form the company’s management.
