The type of Tomato (salad tomato) and its quality have drawn operators in the field (growers, nurseries, sellers) who took the opportunity to discuss the technical characteristics of the variety and the quality of the fruits.
The cultivation of Tomato Web F1, already widespread in Italy, is increasing year by year in Portugal.

“It is a vigorous plant, with short internodes, very adaptable with good performances in terms of yielding and quality guaranteed in all cycles. The fruit is globe shaped with uniform size and a bright dark green colour. Average weight 250-300g. Excellent shelf life and taste that merge with an enviable collection of resistances.

Nicola Santini, Sales Manager, explains that, "The high adaptability of Web F1 Tomato allowed its introduction and spread outside the borders of Italy confirming the positive trend specially in those markets where the cultivation of tomato is a tradition."
