Paper cells are among the various solutions of the Piedmontese company Retarder, which supplies packaging and technological instruments to improve and extend the shelf-life of fruit and vegetables.
"Cells preserve humidity and allow good ventilation while at the same time maintaining hygrometric levels. The blocking system inside the cells avoids shocks during transportation," explain the managers.
"Thanks to the light colour, they enhance the value of fruit and vegetables. In addition, because they can be customised, brands, logos and slogans can be printed in 4 colours. Paper cells strengthen the image of the company and enable customers to identify the products."
Made of Kraft paper, these cells are also ideal for the biological sector. They are easily recyclable (100%) and biodegradable, and therefore they contribute to the protection of the environment.
