Unitec presented new tecnologies at Fruit Logistica
At the Unitec booth operators had an overview of the full range of Unitec new technologies thank to the help of a team of professionals at their disposal and they understand the company's philosophy. This philosophy is focused on the desire to support the success of the customers helping them to increase their business through reliable and efficient technologies to reduce labor costs and, at the same time, increase revenues by enhancing the quality of the product to be placed on the market.
Here some Unitec technological innovations showcased at the fair:
Multi_Pack©, innovative system for automatic packing of kiwis. This technology is multipurpose, gentle and fast and it allows operators’ labour savings thank to packing both bulk bins both in the alveolus.
Uni_Cleaning Selection©, a new innovative system for automatic selection of dirty and/or broken boxes with folding sides. Its allows operators to have benefits both in the management of boxes cleaning and washing process both a considerable energy, water and transport saving.
Cherry Sorting Technologies, that have achieved outstanding success around the world. Unical_200© , the electronic sorter dedicated to sort small and delicate fruits such as cherries and cherry tomatoes. This innovative technology is characterized by its high productivity (about 108,000 fruits/hour/lane) and extreme gentleness, both greatly appreciated by users. Up to date as many as 530 production lanes have been sold in over 20 countries around the world.
Also on display there will be Cherry_Vision©, the system that offers non destructive detection of the external and internal quality of cherries and cherries tomatoes. This very successful technology significantly reduces the hand labour dedicated to fruit with defects with marked savings in processing costs and, at the same time, enhance the produce value thanks to capability to sort defects not detectable by human eye.
Thanks to Cherry_Vision©, cherries and cherry tomatoes packers noticeably improve their quality selection and increase their market profitability thanks to accurate quality selection never reached before.
Apricot Sorting Technologies
Unical_300©, the electronic sorter dedicated to sort delicate fruits as apricots, peaches and plums. This innovative technology is characterized by its high productivity.
This sorter can be equipped with Apricot_Vision©, the new system that offers non destructive detection of the external and internal quality of apricots. This technology detects the defects on the fruit peel and selects overripe apricots by means of infrared sensors that scan the fruit flesh and sort out fruit too ripe (with flesh too soft) not longer suitable for selling. In fact this system, that can be installed on new or existing sorters, makes be it easier to export fruit when several days of transport are required because you will be confident that all produce shipped has a suitable shelf life to withstand long-distance journeys.
Apricot_Vision© is the first one in the world to do this kind of selection on apricots. Furthermore this system ensures advantages clearly tangible and sizeable. A packing house will be able to guarantee its clients a quality level on apricots quality selection never thought about before.
Uni_Box© ,the new reliable and versatile technology for automatic opening boxes with folding sides. It provides several advantages over other machines now available on the market: it can open boxes with dimensions of 600x400 mm of variable heights and can manage all various different brands on the market, such as CPR, IFCO, Euro Pool, Polymer, CHEP, STECO and Aldi.
Uni_Box© can also be powered from the ground with trans pallet, without forklift use.
