We see an increasing interest in our products and services across Europe and expand our international footprint. That’s why we are looking for entrepreneurial Sales agents to represent Mertens in key European growth regions. Are you well-connected in the horticultural sector and ready to build long-term partnerships with growers and partners? Then we’d love to meet you.

Your Role
As our local representative, you will be the face of Mertens in your region. You’ll actively promote our product portfolio, build strong relationships with growers, cooperatives, and partners, and identify opportunities to grow our market share.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing Mertens and promoting our product portfolio to professional growers
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and partners
  • Translating customer needs into tailored solutions with support from our technical and logistics teams
  • Coordinating orders, forecasts, and follow-ups with our Dutch headquarters
  • Attending trade fairs and industry events as our regional ambassador
  • Providing market insights and feedback to help shape our international strategy

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in Horticulture, preferably in greenhouse vegetables or soft fruit
  • Strong commercial drive and a passion for helping growers succeed
  • Existing network in the local Horticultural sector
  • Fluent in English and the local language(s)
  • Independent, proactive, and service-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel within the region
  • Familiarity with cultivation practices, trends, and challenges in your market
