Thanksgiving tradition of honoring employees continues

Pete Pappas & Sons, Inc. proudly celebrated its annual Thanksgiving tradition last week by giving every employee a special holiday box.

This long-standing annual gesture reflects the company's gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and commitment shown by team members throughout the year. Each curated box is meant to show thanks and take away the burden of holiday food shopping, so that employees can focus on a joyful celebration at their homes.

"Our employees are the heart of everything we do," said Paul Pappas, president. "This annual tradition is one small way we say 'thank you' for their effort, teamwork, and resilience. We're honored to support our team during Thanksgiving, as they do for us."

The Thanksgiving boxes are thoughtfully assembled using the same high-quality produce that the company delivers to customers across the region. Each box features holiday staples from healthy tomatoes, crisp apples, hearty root vegetables and lettuce alongside a full turkey. Each package highlights the company's commitment to freshness, nutrition, and community.

Employees look forward to the event each year not only for the food, but for the appreciation behind it. The tradition has become a meaningful reminder of the family-focused values that have shaped the company since its founding in 1942.

"As a family-owned business, we believe in taking care of our own," added Gus Pappas, co-CEO. "Thanksgiving is a perfect time to reflect on what we're grateful for, and our team is at the top of that list."
