As the 2025 apple season progresses, there's been a strong harvest and continued expansion across international markets for Polish apple exporter Agro Queens Sp. Z o.o., says company founder Anna Gabler Michalak: "Poland's apple harvest in 2025 has exceeded expectations. Despite early-season weather challenges, national production is estimated at 3.6 to 4.0 million tons, marking a 5 to 6 per cent increase year-on-year. Organic apple yields have remained stable, reinforcing Poland's position as the fourth largest organic apple producer in the EU. We're also responding to the high domestic supply of industrial apples, offering tailored solutions for juice and processing industries."

Europe remains the primary market for Agro Queens, Gabler Michalak emphasizes. "We supply apples to leading European retail chains, where demand continues to evolve. Consumers increasingly seek eco-certified fruit, club varieties, and apples with no chemical residues. The trend toward healthy snacking, especially among younger demographics, supports steady growth in apple consumption."

Next to the European markets, both the Middle East and India are interesting destinations for the Polish apples, Gabler Michalak explains: "Clients value not only the consistency of the fruit, but also the marketing collaboration and flexible logistics that support retail and wholesale operations. Our strongest presence is in Western and Central Europe, where ethnic stores and wholesale outlets are emerging as new distribution channels. India also continues to be a strategic export destination, with imports of Polish apples rising significantly this season. Varieties such as Gala, Red Delicious, and Red Jonaprince are particularly well-received for their appearance and shelf life."

"We're actively developing our presence in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Libya, and Iraq. We're responding to increased demand in the region, especially following reduced exports from other suppliers.
