"The company's strength lies in its network of long-term farming partners"

Agrochain Vietnam was founded with a simple belief - that Vietnamese fresh fruit deserves a stronger voice on the global stage. The company started as a small team passionate about export quality, farm partnerships, and transparent supply chains.

Today, Agrochain manages every step from farm selection to export packing and delivery. The goal has always been to make Vietnam's fruit not only fresh, but also trusted.

"We don't just sell fruit; we build confidence, one shipment at a time," says Ms. Kate, founder of Agrochain Vietnam.

The company's head office is located in Ho Chi Minh City, with operations and sourcing hubs across southern Vietnam, including Binh Thuan, Long An, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, and Dong Nai. These are the heartlands of Vietnam's fruit production and give the company access to a stable, high-quality supply all year round.

Agrochain has a selection of year-round produce, including Dragon Fruit (white and red flesh), green-skin pomelo, seedless limes, bananas, coconut, and mango. Seasonal products are Rose apple, passion fruit.

Farming partnerships rooted in trust
"The company's strength lies in its network of long-term farming partners across the Mekong Delta and southern provinces, from Binh Thuan, Long An, Ben Tre, Tien Giang, and Dong Nai. These are not just suppliers, but collaborators who grow alongside Agrochain," explains Ms Kate.

"Each farm follows Global standards, with on-site QC teams monitoring every detail, from irrigation and light regulation to harvest maturity and storage temperature. We believe quality starts in the soil, not in the warehouse," Mr. Simon, International Business Manager, adds. "That's why we invest time with farmers, not just contracts."

Vietnam's tropical climate allows for year-round supply for most key fruits, with short breaks for tree recovery.

"However, we embrace seasonality as part of freshness. Rose apple and passion fruit are seasonal highlights; they reflect the rhythm of local farming, and our buyers often look forward to those peak months.

Climatic challenges
"Tropical agriculture is always influenced by the weather. During this year's rainy and stormy months, we saw slower fruit coloring and moisture stress in some orchards. To overcome that, our QC team worked closely with growers on light adjustment, pruning, and better drainage systems. We also improved harvest timing and pre-cooling steps to keep quality stable across shipments."

One of the ongoing challenges faced by the company is the fragmented smallholder system in Vietnam.

"We tackled this by building long-term partnerships with key farms, helping them invest in better farming practices and data-based harvest planning. Another challenge is market volatility, both in pricing and logistics, which we handle by keeping close communication with our buyers and updating shipping schedules proactively."

Growing demand
"Demand has been growing consistently, especially from India, the Middle East, East Asia, and South Asia. These regions value sweetness, shelf life, and stable supply. This is where Vietnam's fruits perform strongly. Interest from Canada, the EU, the US, and Australia has been growing rapidly, from long-shelf-life fruits traveling safely by sea to high-end tropical varieties flown in by air for freshness at its best."

Logistic challenges
"Like any exporter, we deal with changes in vessel schedules and transit times. Our approach is to plan shipments flexibly, communicate updates promptly, and work closely with forwarders who understand the sensitivity of fresh produce.

"We also invest in cold-chain integrity and temperature monitoring, ensuring the fruit arrives in the same quality it left Vietnam with."

"At Agrochain, we believe that trust grows from consistency, whether it's the first small order or a long-term partnership. Every carton we pack carries not only fruit, but the care and commitment of the people behind it. We want every box we ship to tell a story — of where it came from, who grew it, and why it matters, because when our fruit reaches the world, Vietnam's farmers do too," Ms. Kate concludes.
