The Organic Produce Association (OPA) has appointed Jennifer Jacobs as its new Director of Marketing and Membership. In this role, she will oversee the association's marketing initiatives and member engagement as OPA continues to expand its activities and industry presence.

Jacobs has nearly 20 years of experience in the natural foods and retail sector, including leadership positions at Whole Foods Market and the Plant Based Foods Association. Her background includes work in marketing, merchandising, and brand development within the organic and plant-based sectors.
According to OPA Chairman Theo Crisantes, Jacobs' experience in the organic and natural foods industries will support the association's ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration and representation across the sector. "Jennifer's strategic mindset and deep understanding of the organic and natural foods landscape will be instrumental as we expand OPA's reach," he said.
OPA said the appointment comes as the association continues to focus on growing membership, supporting industry coordination, and promoting the development of organic produce markets.
