Uzbekistan exported 486,600 tonnes of pears to eight foreign markets between January and August 2025, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee. Export earnings reached US$554.9 million during the period.
Although export volumes declined by 60,700 tonnes compared to the same months of 2024, the total export value increased by 25.2%, reflecting higher international prices for Uzbek pears.
Russia remained the largest buyer, importing 251,700 tonnes, followed by Kazakhstan with 121,800 tonnes and Kyrgyzstan with 57,100 tonnes.
Smaller volumes were shipped to Turkmenistan (31,900 tonnes), Iran (19,600 tonnes), Tajikistan (2,900 tonnes), the United Arab Emirates (1,000 tonnes), and Belarus (500 tonnes).
