Kikokà, the newest member of the sweet yellow kiwi family, successfully concluded its participation in Fruit Attraction 2025. The European Consortium was present for three days at a busy stand alongside the Rivoira Group and RK Growers.
"The fair was an exceptional opportunity for our consortium to strengthen relationships with professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector, share the brand philosophy, and engage in close dialogue with distributors and retailers," stated Fabio Zanesco, CEO of Kikokà Europe. "The 2025-26 season is about to start: during these weeks, the fruits are being harvested and will then be stored in cold storage to be used mainly for the second part of the commercial season, which is the core of our current offer," he added.

Andrea Peviani, President of the consortium, led the members' breakfast on October 1st, before the fair opened, emphasizing the need for maximum commitment to quality in order to provide the market with a premium product that can increase consumption and reward the associated producers. In this context, the days in Madrid also provided an ideal opportunity to introduce the new technical director of Kikokà, Mirco Stefanati, who has worked hard in recent months on shaping the consortium's approach to a comprehensive quality system that meets the expectations of both customers and suppliers. "The widespread plantations in Italy, Greece, France, and Spain are undoubtedly a challenging factor that requires rigorous technical-scientific support," Stefanati stated. "The potential of the Kikokà varieties is truly remarkable, and I am very motivated to reach production levels that align with the business plans of the consortium and our partners soon."
Marco Rivoira, CEO of the Piedmontese group and Master Licensee of the Kikokà project, expressed his excitement about the fair and the global interest it has garnered. "I am proud of what we have achieved so far, and I believe that the professionalism we have put into building our organization will result in the right benefits for our partner companies and producers."
Gerhard Dichgans, the Global Project Manager at Kikokà, was also available to international partners who are potentially interested or already involved in growing the two commercial yellow kiwi varieties. "In addition to Europe, which is already a commercial market," Dichgans emphasized, "our expansion projects in Chile and other global production areas are making significant progress, and we will soon have new partners for the Kikokà brand."
