At the Hygiene, Quality, and Automation Technical Forum, Dr. Martín Mottura of Citrosol gave a talk on "Water management and food safety in post-harvest washing operations," in which he analyzed current water management practices in fresh-cut washing processes based on the results recently published by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). He explained how the Citrocide Fresh-Cut system, developed by Citrosol, ensures the hygienic washing of minimally processed fruits and vegetables, thereby efficiently and sustainably boosting food safety.
