In 2024, Peru's agricultural exports reached US$ 12.784 billion, marking a 22.1% increase from US$ 10.469 billion in 2023, according to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur). Traditional agricultural shipments totaled US$ 1.230 billion, while agricultural and/or agro-industrial shipments amounted to US$ 11.553 billion.
Peru expanded its agricultural export supply to 145 markets, four more than the previous year. Camposol led as the top agro-exporting company with US$ 494 million in shipments, a 46% rise, reaching 32 markets and comprising 3.86% of total agro-exports.
Machu Picchu Foods followed with US$ 371 million in shipments, a 125.5% increase, attributed to favorable cocoa prices internationally. Machu Picchu Foods ascended five positions in the ranking, exporting to 37 countries.
Virú and Danper Trujillo ranked third and fourth with US$ 280 million and US$ 278 million, respectively, despite each dropping one position. The Beta Agroindustrial Complex and Hortifrut held fifth and sixth places with US$ 260 million and US$ 212 million, respectively, with Hortifrut climbing two positions.
Completing the top ten were Ecosac Agrícola with US$ 193 million, Agrovision with US$ 192 million, Sociedad Agrícola Rapel with US$ 179 million, and Vitapro with US$ 179 million, the latter experiencing a 12.85% decrease in shipments.
